About the Project

About the Company

The Summers Group is a New Jersey-based retained executive search firm serving mid-market and enterprise companies. Its work centers on senior commercial and corporate leadership roles, with particularly deep experience in consumer packaged goods and related industries. Every search is led personally by the firm’s founder.

The Starting Point

After years of working closely with one major client, The Summers Group was preparing to serve a broader range of companies again. Its older website relied partly on Flash, making much of it difficult for visitors to access. The firm needed a current online presence that could support introductions and referrals—not serve as its primary source of new business.

The Website Challenge

The site had to give a referred executive a quick, credible picture of the firm’s expertise and make its distinction from larger search firms clear. Breadth of experience mattered, but so did the way the work gets done: direct involvement throughout a search, careful attention to cultural fit, and strong relationships with both clients and candidates. An executive search firm website also needed to speak first to companies hiring leaders, rather than read like a destination for job seekers.

How We Solved It

We built a scrollable, one-page site that leads visitors from the firm’s promise into its services, approach, experience, and contact form. Rather than rely on broad claims about recruitment, the copy identifies the kinds of companies and leadership roles the firm serves. A concise list of functions, from marketing and sales to finance and supply chain, helps visitors recognize the scope of its work.

We made personal leadership the thread through the page. The approach section explains how conversations with clients and candidates inform the search, while the experience and working-with-the-firm sections bring out more than 20 years of relationships, sector knowledge, and the absence of handoffs to junior associates. That structure keeps the company’s identity intact while giving the person behind each search appropriate prominence.

At the end, a contact form invites a conversation about the role and the business behind it. The finished website gives The Summers Group a clear, accessible way to substantiate a referral and explain what it means to work with the firm.
